An air powered air-purifying respirator suitable for use in open and closed areas to protect the respiratory system, face, eyes and head.

Recommended for pesticides spraying in the open and in the greenhouses, for grain handling, cleaning and disinfecting stables and pens, and during any work where it is necessary to effectively protect the respiratory system, eyes and head.

These respirators work by means of a slight overpressure created by a flow of filtered air. The air, sucked and purified through the filters by means of a control unit, is sent through the tube inside the helmet. Control unit, filters and battery are worn on the belt.

The electric respirator with helmet is a device capable of providing combined protection of the head (EN397), face and eyes (EN166) and respiratory tract – from gases and particles – (EN12941). The adjustable internal harness locks the helmet to the forehead giving greater visibility to the operator. The polyamide collar allows a pleasant and efficient closure of the helmet around the operator’s neck. The respirator is designed to be used both in compact mode and in mode with control unit and battery on the belt. This is possible by changing the rear insert. The e-T5 control unit is equipped with a silent and long-lasting coreless motor and a monitoring system for the state of charge of the battery and the minimum flow by means of a LED and a buzzer. The lightness of the device allows it to be used without the use of a shoulder support.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

PROTECTION: The electro respirator with helmet is the only assisted ventilation device capable of providing combined protection for the head, face and eyes, and
respiratory tract from particles and gas.
The aspirated and filtered air is introduced into the helmet via the control unit and connection pipe, creating a slight over pressure.
The continuous and uniform flow of air prevents fogging of the visor and eliminates any respiratory effort, offering protection and comfort for the operator.

COMFORT: The respirator is easy to don and use also by inexperienced workers. Lightweight and of simple design, it is comfortable to wear even in harsh working conditions.

LIFE: The use of carefully selected first choice raw materials guarantee a product average life expectancy of over ten years.

FLOW INDICATOR: there are 2 flow indicators: a visual and acoustic one on the ventilation unit and a sphere flow indicator always visible on the visor. These systems allow to keep under control the functioning of the respirator.

LITHIUM BATTERIES: The latest generation lithium battery, lightweight and of easy maintenance, is carried at the waist.

VENTILATION UNIT: Equipped with a silent and long-lasting coreless motor and a system that allows the monitoring of the minimum flow and the state of charge of the battery.

HELMET: The inner headband, adjustable from 52 to 63 cm, blocks the helmet round the forehead allowing for excellent visibility when the worker turns his head. Ultraviolet sun rays are repelled by the white color of the helmet.
The helmet complies with the requirements of the EN 397 standard: protects the head from falling objects and brain injuries to the skull that may result.

COLLARS: The polyamide collar closes efficiently and comfortably around the worker’s neck.

VISOR: It complies with the requirements of the EN166 standard: it is in optical class 2 and resists particles with a speed of 120 m / s. Allows visibility over 90%. Anti-fog and anti-scratch treatments have been carried out on the visor. Protective films, to be fixed to the special pins, can be supplied as an accessory to further protect the visor. There is a minimum flow indicator on the visor.
